HARTSVILLE - Graveside services for Willis Berry Ammons, 82, will be held at 4:00 p.m. Friday, November 17, 2006 at Westview Memorial Park Cemetery. The Rev. Ryan Goodroe will officiate with services directed by Brown-Pennington-Atkins Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Friday, November 17, 2006 following the service.

Mr. Ammons, widower of Mary T. Ammons, died Wednesday, November 15, 2006. Born in Marion Co., SC, he was a son of the late Liston B. and Martha Ammons. He was a member of Fourth Street Baptist Church.

Surviving are his daughter and son-in-law, Dorothy and Jimmie Warren of Hartsville, SC; grandchildren, William Warren, James Warren, Carol Garner, Wanda Snipes, David Chevront, Brad McElveen; 13 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Peggy McElveen; grandson, Donnie Warren; brothers, Carl Ammons, Luther Ammons; sisters Rachel Ammons, Hattie Walker, and Elizabeth Ammons.
