BAXTER – Funeral services for Isham B. Carter, 66, of Baxter were conducted Tuesday, March 1, at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Dyer Funeral Home in Cookeville with Bro. Paul Fox officiating. Interment was in the Crestlawn Cemetery.
Mr. Carter passed away Sunday, Febraury 28, in the Cookeville General Hospital. He was a pipe fitter. A native of Jackson County, he was the son of the late Willis Edward and Nellie Veteto Carter, a veteran of World War II and a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, Frances Carter, Baxter; one son, Michael Carter, Baxter; three brothers, Warren Carter, Cookeville; James Carter, MS and Myrlin Carter, NC; and two grandchildren, Shane and Linda Carter of Baxter.
