Professional Hockey Player. Also known as 'Loyd' or 'Andy.' A native of Bromley Township, or Tillsonburg, Ontario, Andrews played for teams in the NHL, OIHA, OHA-Sr., St-Cup, Can-Am, AHA, and the CHL, hockey players. At 150lbs, Andrews played the position of Left Wing for the Dunville Mudcats from 1914 to 1917, Niagara Falls Cataracts from 1918 to 1921, Toronto St. Pats from 1921 to 1925, New Haven Eagles from 1926 to 1928, Duluth Hornets from 1928 to 1929, Philadelphia Arrows from 1928 to 1932, St. Paul Greyhounds from 1932 to 1933, Tulsa Oilers from 1932 to 1933, Hibbing Maroons from 1932 to 1933, and the Hibbing Miners from 1933 to 1934. Andrews retired from playing hockey in 1934.
