CALDWELL — Mrs. Alverdia Catherine Hoshaw, 75, of 2404 South Kimball avenue died at a Boise hospital Wednesday morning.
Mrs. Hoshaw was born at Osceola, Mo., Aug. 30, 1875, and was married to Thomas Mayfield Hoshaw at Oceola in 1893. The two took up a pioneer claim at Troy, Idaho, and later lived at Albany, Ore., and Prosser, Wash., before moving to Caldwell in 1910. Mr. Hoshaw died in Caldwell in 1939.
She was a member of the First Christian church.
She is survived by a son, Edward M. Hoshaw of Boise, and two grandchildren.
Services will be at the Peckham-Dakan chapel at 2:30 p. m. Friday with the Rev. Murle M. Jones and the Rev. Hartzell Cobbs of Boise officiating. Interment will be at Canyon Hill.
