Elvira Ruth (Breitwieser) Garrison of Avon, IN passed away on Sept. 7, 2013 at the age of 84. She was born on March 17, 1929 in Lafayette, IN.
Vera was preceded in death by Harold her husband of 64 years. She is survived by her sons, Thomas (Larry), Timothy, John (Bonnie), Peter and daughter, Jennifer, four grandchildren and one great grandson.
She was a graduate of Lafayette Jefferson High School. She was a homemaker and also worked for J.C. Penney Company in Speedway for several years. Vera was a member of Our Shepherd Lutheran Church, a Past President of The Lutheran Women's Missionary League, and also worked to support the cause of Children with Down's Syndrome.
