TORNEY – At St. Joseph’s Hospital on Sunday, June 10th, 1973, William Alexander Torney of 1201 Richmond Street. Beloved husband of Marguerite Torney, dear father of Dr. Douglas Torney of Waterloo. Dear brother of Rachel (Mrs. A. Anderson) of Grosse Point, Michigan and Raymond of Berkley, Michigan. Also survived by two granddaughters, Gillian and Jennifer. Funeral service will be held at St. Luke’s Anglican Church, 1204 Richmond Street on Tuesday at 1:30 PM with Canon M. H. H. Farr officiating. Friends who wish may make donations to the charity of their choice through Geo. E. Logan & Sons Funeral Home. There will be no visitation at the funeral home prior to the funeral service.
