Robert LuRay 'Bob' Senff was born 9 Jun 1926 in Fargo, Cass Co., ND to Marion & Nina Sylvia (Olson) Senff, the eldest of 3 children. Bob went to school through the 6th grade in Fargo and continued his education in Georgetown, MN when the family moved there in 1939.
Bob was married and divorced twice, first to Celeste Marie Larson-Myhre on 30 Aug 1950 in Sisseton, Roberts Co., SD. They had children Virgie LuRay Myhre-Senff and Robert Leighton Senff before they divorced. Bob then married Yvonne Marie Auren on 30 Sep 1957. With her they had children, William Jay 'Billie' Senff, LaVeta Marie Senff, and Robin Noreen Senff before they divorced. Billie lives in Montana, the other 4 children in ND.
Bob spent several years working with his father in their Garage & Mobil Gas Station in Georgetown, MN. He also worked in Oregon at several mechanic jobs. He was a diabetic and became a resident of Tioga Nursing Home in Tioga, ND where his mother and sister lived. He had been a resident of Ray, ND before this time since 1966.
Bob died at age 52 in Minot, ND in 1979. His former wife Celeste lives in Fargo, ND and Yvonne lives in CA. He may also have had cancer according to his Aunt Lucille Olson-Lewis' Family History Book.
Bob was survived by his mother, Nina, both ex-wives, 5 children previously mentioned, two sisters, Betty (George) Neset of Tioga, ND, and Beverly (Robert) Quam of Georgetown, MN; 5 grandchildren, and several step children and step grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Marion Senff.
