EMIL E. KUBANT
Emil E. Kubant, 58, 2918 Skelly street, Bryn Mawr, died this morning at 10:10 o'clock at his home after a two-year illness which kept him bedfast for the past three weeks. He was a heater at the McKeesport Tim Plate company. He was born July 22, 1874 in Germany and had lived in McKeesport 50 years. He was a member of Trinity German Lutheran church. Surviving are his widow, Orpha A. Kubant; two daughters, Mrs. Gladys Suhrie and Von Edith Kubant, at home; two brothers, George and Lewis Kubant, McKeesport; three sisters, Mrs. William Voelker, Mrs. Elmer Johnson and Miss Edith Kubant, McKeesport, and one grandchild. Funeral arrangements are incomplete.

Emil was affectionately known as "Abe" or "Uncle Abe" because of his resemblance to Abraham Lincoln. His Occupation was a "roller" in the tin mill. He was married to a school teacher Orpha Fulmer. They had no children but adopted a girl Gladys. They also raised Dolly (Von Edith) Warren his niece, when his sister Bertha died.
