About 1839 when he was a mere lad, his father's family moved from New York to Lee Co., Ill. and later settled near the town of Walnut, Bureau Co., they went by ox-drawn covered wagon. While in Chicago (then a small place) Aaron got lost, causing some anxiety on the part of the other members of the family and some shedding of tears on the part of Aaron. He was a soldier in the Civil War.

Wife: Hannah M. BRADY(1838-1897) married Feb 4, 1854
Children: Frank Brady(1854-)( M: #1 Ella Lee; #2 Elizabeth Dean), Philo David(1856-), Marietta Blanch(1858-)(William Silas Ranny), Winona May(1863-)William Hughe Lyon), Asa Alfred(1867-1932) (Clara Sorben), and Aaron Mark(1873-1928).
