Mrs. Sitha Parsons 76, Twin Falls pioneer, died Monday at the home of her daughter, Mrs Arthur Wines, Wenatchee, Wash., following an illness of four months.
She came to Twin falls from Tekoa, Washington in 1907, and was a member of the Christian church. She was preceded in death by her husband George W. Parsons, June 25, 1924, and by one son in 1933.
Her survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Grace Coggins and Mrs. Elmer Dossett, both of Twin Falls; Mrs. F.B. McCombs, Long Beach Calif.; and Mrs. Wines, Wenatchee, Wash.; and Mrs. John Daniel, Pasadena, Calif.,; Three sons, Jerry L. Parsons, Tracy, Calif.; Lorenz Parsons, Wenatchee, Wash; and Edwin R. Parsons, John Day, Calif; Six brothers, John Modrell, Calif.; Willis Modrell and Osmund Modrell, both Oregon; Jack Modrell and H. C. Modrell, both Idaho, and Mack Modrell, Wash.; One sister Mrs. Minnie Hand, Walla Walla, Wash.; 16 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
The body will be received in Twin Falls by the Reynolds funeral home and services will be conducted at 2pm Thursday at the Christian church. The Rev. Mark C. Cronenberger will officiate. Burial will be made in Sunset Memorial
