Mrs. Minnie Gessler, 95, of 420 S. Janesville, Whitewater, died Monday at Fort Health Care Center, Fort Atkinson, where she had lived since February.

Born Sept. 6, 1889, in the town of Genesee, she married Fred Gessler on Sept. 25, 1929, In Rockford, Ill. She spent her life farming In the Johnstown and Whitewater areas, moving to Whitewater in 1942. She was a member of First English Lutheran Church In Whitewater.

Surviving are one grandson; and one great-grandchild.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in Skindingsrude Funeral Home, Whitewater, with burial In Hillside Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon until time of services at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to First English Lutheran Church.
