Koss Courtney, age 90, of Northport, died Dec. 6, 2006 at Hospice of West Alabama. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 9, 2006, at Five Points Baptist Church with Rev. Ben Jameson and Rev. Billy Gray officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Gardens with Sunset Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be Saturday from 9 to 11 a.m. at Five Points Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Daisye Courtney of Northport, Ala.; son, Glenn Courtney (Susan) of Meridianville, Ala.; grandchildren, Andrew Courtney and Allyson Courtney.

Mr. Courtney was a beloved member of Five Points Baptist Church. He was a true servant of God and will be missed by all.

Pallbearers will be Bennie Bumpers, A.L. Courtney, Ben Porter, Frank Hamiter, Rex Shanner and Armour Freeman.

Honorary pallbearers are all deacons and members of Five Points Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to either Hospice of West Alabama or The Gideon International (Bibles).
