Mrs. Nora Christina Benner, 89, former resident of 520 South Taft Avenue, died Friday at 3:15 a.m. in the Villa Maria Nursing Home, Green Springs. She had been a patient there four years.
Mrs. Benner was born September 21, 1882, in Fremont, daughter of Christian and Elizabeth Mathia Michael. She was married to Ervin A. Benner in 1915. He died in 1969.
Surviving are daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Douglas and Mrs. Robert (Evelyn) Schaeffer, both of Fremont; one sister, Mrs. Clara E. Cookson, Fremont, and one granddaughter.
Mrs. Benner was a member of Trinity United Methodist church and the Goodwill class.
Friends will be received at the Keller and Son funeral home Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday. The Rev. S. W. Brandyberry will conduct funeral services Monday at 1:30 p.m. in the mortuary with burial in Oakwood cemetery.
The family suggests memorials to the church.
