Employed for many years as general freight and passenger agent of the old Utah Central railroad. Mr. Cope was employed at various times as accountant by Consolidated Wagon and Machine company and the Oregon Short Line railroad, and was chief clerk of the American Smelting and and Refining company at both the Salt and Murray offices. For the past few years he had been a certified public accountant.
