Elsie T. Chapo Swanger, 81, of Mount Carmel, died June 17 at her home.
Before she moved to Mount Carmel, Mrs. Swanger lived in Chester and Eddystone. She worked at Allied Chemical Co. for 15 years as a packer and was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Eddystone.
She was the daughter of the late John and Anna Kovac Chapo.
Survivors: Loving companion, Joseph Costello, of Mount Carmel; daughter, Regina Butakis, of Woodlyn; and Carol DiMatteo, of Eddystone; 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren
Mass: 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Simpson Street and Chester Pike, Eddystone.
Burial: East Lawn Cemetery, Ridley Township.
