Maynard W. "Andy" Anderson, 61, of 355 W. Reynolds died at 7:35 p.m. Saturday at Memorial Medical Center.

Born in Decatur, Mr. Anderson was the son of James Otis and Hazel Lemon Anderson.

Formerly of Edinburg, Mr. Anderson has resided in Springfield for 25 years.

He was employed by Barker-Lubin Co. for 28 years.

Mr. Anderson was a veteran of World War II.

He was a member of the West Side Christian Church and Teamsters Local 916.

Surviving are his wife, Eleanor J.; mother, Mrs. Hazel Anderson, of Taylorville; three sons, Kenneth and Keith, both of Springfield; and Kevin, of Kansas City, Kan.; one daughter, Miss Lynette Anderson, of Springfield; two sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Talucci, of Indianapolis, Ind.; and Mrs. Alice DesCarpenter, of Taylorville; three grandchildren; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Services were at Bisch Memorial Home.

Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery.
