Eva Margaret Opatrny, 93 of New Castle Road, died Thursday, April 29, 2010 at Emerald Pointe in Barnesville.

She was born March 27, 1917 in Provident, Ohio, a daughter of the late John Susac and Catherine Mauar Susac.

Eva was a homemaker, a Methodist, a member of the Belmont County Women's Extension Group, and a 4-H Leader.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Opatrny, Sr.; a son, Frank Opatrny, Jr.; a daughter, Sandra Williams.

Surviving are two daughters, Elaine Gacek of Morristown, and Cathy Opatrny of Jerusalem; 7 grandchildren, Karen (Tom) Wallace, Zack (Connie) Gacek, Craig Gacek, Keeley Jo (Eric) Corrick, Ailsa (Cyndy) Vogelsang, Frank (Becca) Vogelsang, and Ben (Stephanie) Jones; 8 great grandchildren; 2 great great granddaughters.

Friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Saturday from 11 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m.

Burial follows in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville.
