Mose Jock died at his home in Moira Monday night at 9:30 o'clock. The funeral was held at St Mary's Church in Brushton Thursday morning. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery.
Mr. Jock was born in fort Covington 80 years ago yesterday and had resided in Moira for many years where a time he conducted Hotel Lawrence and later engaged in livery business. Before the family moved to Moira they lived in Brushton, Mr. Jock conducted a restaurant.
Besides his widow, the former Catherine McDonald, he leaves a son. Harley, superintendent of the Franklin County Home of Malone, and a daughter, Mrs. James Scanlon of Moira, also a brother and sister; Fred Jock and Mrs. Fred Deyette, both of Brushton.
