Death of Mrs Alex Labell

Mrs. Alex LaBelle, who was thrown from a buggy last fall, received injuries from which from she never recovered. She passed from life Sunday, July 13th, after five months of failing health, age 71 years. Mrs. LaBelle was the daughter of Abram Jock of Bombay. She married Alex LaBelle over 5o years ago and 16 children were born of the marriage, 12 of whom survive. Deceased was the grandmother of 41 children and the great grandmother of 7. She is survived by her husband, four sons and eight daughters as follows: Tom of Sodus, N.Y.; Henry of Great Falls Mont.; John of Bimmington, N.Y., Enos J of Canton, Ohio; Mrs. Rose Trippany, Mrs. Margaret Lafleur, Mrs. Mae McCarthy and Mrs. Eva LaBelle all of the town of Bangor; Mrs. Addie mentor of Oswego. Six brothers and one sister also survive. The burial was from St Mary's R. C. church, Brushton, of which deceased was a devoted member. She was a fine, cherry women and loving wife and mother.
