Services for Otto M. Barcus of 285 Bickford, millwirght for the American Snuff Co., will be held at 3 tomorrow afternoon at Thompson Bros. Mortuary. The Rev. E. Pitt Woodroof will officiate. Mr. Barcus died at 9:45 last night at St. Joseph Hospital following an illness of four months. His retirement was to have become effective today. Born in Cromwell, Ind., Mr. Barcus moved to Memphis from Indiana 35 years ago. He was a carpenter before he joined the snuff firm four years ago. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Orpha P. Barcus; two sons, Roscoe L. and Oliver Jack Barcus; and two daughters, Misses Lois Virginia and Clara E. Barcus, all of Memphis; three brothers, Donald Barcus of Albion, Ind., Weir Barcus of Cape Girardeau, Mo., and Delbert Barcus of Houston, Texas; and two sisters, Mrs. Beulah Vinson of Pensacola, Fla. and Mrs. Bessie Justis of Fort Wayne Ind.
