Florence Meyer Dies; Services Friday
Mrs. Meyer was a member of the Sacre Coeur Church, Creve Coeur, and the Altar and Rosary Society.
Services were held at 9:30 a.m. Friday, April 3, at Wilton Mortuary and at 10 o'clock at the Sacre Coeur Church, The Rev. James D. Shaughnessy officiated. Burial was in Lakeside Cemetery, Pekin.
Mrs. Florence D. Meyer, 69, of 236 S. Thorncrest Ave., Creve Coeur, died at 9:19 March 31st at Proctor Hospital in Peoria. She had been a hospital patient since March 18th. Born July 24, 1900, at Tiskilwa, a daughter of Thomas J. and Maria Driscoll Cooney, she had lived at the Thorncrest Ave. address since 1928. She attended Bradford High School and was graduated with the class of 1918. On November 26, 1933, in Peoria she was married to Ralph W. Meyer.
She is survived by her husband, two sisters, Mrs. Julia Blaisdell of Bradford and Mrs. Jennie McNulty of Greybull, Wyoming. She was preceded in death by her parents , three sisters, and three brothers.
