Dickerson-Ervin (May 1887) of
Mingo, Williamsburg, South Carolina
He was born to the union of Andrew Ervin
(Jun 1842-) and Minda Pressley-Ervin
(Mar 1847-1917) of Mingo, Williamsburg, South Carolina
He was father to:
Onetha Ervin (abt 1910)
James Ervin (abt 1912)
Minda Ervin (abt 1914)
William Cornelius Ervin (abt 1916)
Flora Ervin (abt 1919)
Ruby Lee (abt 1922)
B.G. Ervin (abt 1925)
Note* Although the Certificate of Death
states Conyer's mother was named "Dozier,"
this is not correct. Minda's maiden name
is Pressley, not Dozier. Whether she was
ever married to a Dozier prior to Andrew
Ervin, there is no record of it to my
knowledge.
The evidence is that William provided the
Death Record information for his mother
Minda, and it indicates his mother's
maiden name is Pressley. I'm thinking
perhaps Minda's "mother's" maiden name might
be Dozier.
