Mrs. Frances Ivester Tise, 93, of Winston-Salem, passed away Thursday, September 5, 2013 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. Mrs. Tise was born August 2, 1920 in Winston-Salem to Rector D. and Beulah Lineback Ivester. She was a 1937 graduate of Reynolds High School and was the owner of Country Club Beauty Salon. Mrs. Tise was a lifelong member of Fairview Moravian Church. Mrs. Tise was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is survived by her husband of 71 years, Lindsay Aldene Tise of the home; two sons, Lindsay Aldene Tise, Jr. and wife, Betty of Hartwell, GA and their daughter, Taylor Szoke and husband, Clay and their children, Sutton and Jax, Timothy Eugene Tise and wife, Martha of Cumming, GA and their children, Meredith Tise, Jennifer Tise, David Tise and Eric Tise; her very dear friend, Linda Phelps; and two brothers, Douglas Ivester and Larry Ivester. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, September 8, 2013 at Fairview Moravian Church with Rev. Scott Venable officiating. Burial will follow at Salem Moravian Graveyard.
