Donna Laura (Ranum) Butler Rodefer is actually buried in the Fairview Cemetery at Columbia Falls, Flathead Co., Montana.

Peoria,Illinois-Donna Laura Ranum Butler,89,formerly of Peoria, passed away on September 5, 2012 in Kalispell, Montana.
She was born in October 13,1922 in VanHook, North Dakota. She was the fifth of eight children born to Emil G Ranum and Katie Amelia Babcock Ranum.
She learned to play the piano at an early age and loved to see for her family. She graduated from Northwest Nazarene College in Nampo, Idaho in 1947 and taught home economics in Page, North Dakota for two years.
She married William J Butler of Rushville, Illinois, whom she met while attending college. The wedding was held on June 14, 1949 in Valley City, North Dakota. They settled in Peoria, Illinois where she took up homemaking and became the pianist at Peoria First Church of the Nazarene.
In 1969 Donna, William "Bill" and their five children moved to Olympia Fields, Illinois and Donna returned to teaching at SPEED School in Park Forest and Chicago Heights, Illinois as a special education teacher until she retired. She was also pianist and organist for the Richton Park Church of the Nazarene.
After retirement she and Bill moved to Manville, Illinois and then Streator, Illinois. Bill died in 1992.
Donna married C Lee Rodefer of Mendota, Illinois in 1997. He died in 2011.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands; three brothers Gerald Ranum, James Ranum, and Richard Ranum; three sisters Muriel Monroe, Jean Simon, and Kathleen Bauer; two nieces and three nephews.
Donna was laid to rest in Columbia Falls, Montana in a picturesque country cemetery with a white chapel and a lovely mountain view. Service was held at noon on October 6, 2012 at Fairview Cemetery, Columbia Falls, Montana. Burial was by Buffalo Hill Funeral and Crematory of Kalispell, Montana.
