BRUCE A. ELLIOTT, 85, of 1141 Woodland Way, Hagerstown, died on Saturday morning at the Garlock Convalescent Home. Born in Newville, Pa., he was the son of Samuel and Emma High Elliott.

He was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church, the Golden Club and the Friendship Men's Bible Class. He had been employed at the Pennsylvania Railroad as a roundhouse foreman for 43 years, retiring 25 years ago.

Surviving are a son, Robert B. Elliott of West Point, N.Y. and a daughter, Mrs. Albert E. Davis, Sr. of Hagerstown, MD, and sister, Mrs. Rae Duncan, Carlisle, Pa. Also surviving are six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Burial was in Rest Haven Cemetery.
