He was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church, the Golden Club and the Friendship Men's Bible Class. He had been employed at the Pennsylvania Railroad as a roundhouse foreman for 43 years, retiring 25 years ago.
Surviving are a son, Robert B. Elliott of West Point, N.Y. and a daughter, Mrs. Albert E. Davis, Sr. of Hagerstown, MD, and sister, Mrs. Rae Duncan, Carlisle, Pa. Also surviving are six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Burial was in Rest Haven Cemetery.
