Ora Earl Cook, 77, of Johnsonville died Tuesday at his home following a lengthy illness. He came to the area about 40 years ago and before, his retirement was employed by area
contractors on bridge construction. Born in Columbus, lnd., he was a veteran of both World
Wars, serving in the cavalry in World War I and the U.S. Navy in World War II. Mr. Cook is survived by his wife, the former Mary Cumo; a son, William T. Cook of Johnsonville, and eight grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday at 10 a.m. from his home with Rev. Donald Ouillette, pastor of Christ Methodist Church, Johnsonville, officiating. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery, Schaghticoke.
