Early Life: Stanley was born October 29, 1963, in Ogden, Utah, to Ray Cook Holt and Lula Mae Simmons Holt.
Life's Work | Service | Interests: On May 2, 1985, Stanley married Michelle Smith in the Salt Lake Temple. He lived entire life in Utah, between Weber County and St. George. He was employed at Hill Air Force Base as an aircraft mechanic and became a commercial airline pilot for Skywest Airlines. He served a mission in Venezuela for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Stanley loved to fly, sky dive, scuba dive and the outdoors, especially spending time with his family, both immediate and extended. He was a member of the A.O.P.A. and the Sky Diving Club. He always went out of his way to help others. Stanley Simmons Holt died March 22, 2001, in an experimental airplane accident. He was 38 years of age.
Survived By: Three sons: Chistopher Ray Holt, Tyler S. Holt, Jacob S. Holt, all of Roy, UT; his mother; brothers and sisters: Larry Holt (Debbie), Eden, UT; Russell Holt (Donna), Provo, UT; Gwendolyn Holt (Don Harold) Lee, Ogden, UT; LuAnn Holt (Melvin) Gifford, La Verkin, UT.
