An infant daughter of Harriet Yeager and Edson Whipple was reportedly born 26 April 1854 & died 21 February 1855 at Provo, Utah, whom they named Lavinia Goss Whipple; because she died an infant, they named another daughter Lavina Goss Whipple, recorded as born 22 May 1865 and died at age 4.

Both were named for Lavina Goss Whipple, the first wife of her father, Edson Whipple.

She is buried directly south of Mary Ann Yeager Whipple and east of Caroline Monroe, wife of Dagbert Whipple.
