FORT WORTH - Crowell E. "Butch" Bowers, a retired radiator shop employee, died Thursday at home. He was 89.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Mount Olivet Funeral Home. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery.

Visitation: 7 to 8 tonight at the funeral home.

Mr. Bowers was born in Jewett and had lived in Fort Worth most of his life.

He worked at Fred Anglin & Son Radiator Shop for 38 years before retiring in 1977. Mr. Bowers was a member of Southside Masonic Lodge 1114.

Survivors: Wife, Frances Bowers of Fort Worth; son, E. Rex Bowers of Cleburne; daughter, Patsy Beren of Broomfield, Colo.; three sisters, Charlene Watts of Hurst, Pauline Bowers of North Richland Hills and Maryetta Williams of Fort Worth; 17 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
