Virginia T. Fellowes of Wheaton for 50 years Funeral services for Virginia T. Fellowes, 86, will be held at 10 a.m. today, in chapel of the Trinity Episcopal Church, 130 N. West St., Wheaton. Born May 1, 1917, in Chicago, she died Monday, July 21, 2003, at the Wynscape Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Wheaton. Interment will follow the services in the Mount Hope Cemetery, Chicago. Virginia was an elegant lady in every sense and lived her life with grace and style. She grew up in the Beverly neighborhood on Chicago's south side, attended Morgan Park High School and graduated from Beloit College in 1939. She married H. Folger Fellowes in 1940 and moved to Wheaton after World War II, where she lived and raised her family for the next 50 years. Virginia was a homemaker and very active in such organizations as the Wheaton Garden Club, P.E.O. Chapter I.D., Delta Gamma, Pan-Hellenic, Geneva Hospital Auxilary and Theater Guild. She enjoyed traveling all over the world, especially England and was an avid reader, knitter, gardener and ever hopeful Chicago Cubs Fan. A devoted and supportive wife, mother and friend, Virginia will be missed by those whose lives she touched over the years. Virginia is survived by her daughters, Nancy (Dick) Martorano, Betsy (Ron) Hunt and Ginny (Bill) Lee, all of Wheaton; son, Tom of Ganges, Mich.; grandchildren, Rob (Cathy Czink) Martorano and Peter, Neil and Tom Hunt; brother-in-law, John (Elaine) Fellowes; and her dear friend, Helen Cohee Buchanan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Folger; parents, James A. and Selena Turner; brother, James B. Turner; and grandson, Tim Martorano. Visitation was Tuesday, at the Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., Wheaton. Memorials may be made to the Wynscape Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, 2180 Manchester Road, Wheaton, IL 60187; or to CNS Hospice of DuPage, 690 E. North Ave., Carol Stream, IL 60188.
