Charlie Edward Stegall, 95, of Dry Fork, passed away at his residence September 4, 2013. He was born August 21, 1918 to Clarence and Hattie Stegall. He is survived by his wife, Mary Stowe Stegall. He owned and operated Stegall Hauling. He was a lifetime member of Whitmell United Methodist Church. He was a member of Woodmen of The World.
He is also survived by his children: Marjorie Wimmer (Jerome), Joyce Kelly (Hugh) and Netti Holley; six grandchildren; brother William Stegall; sister Irene Oakes.
He was also predeceased by his son-in-law Roderick Holley, his great-granddaughter Madelyn "Maddie" Davis, his brothers Percy Stegall and Richard Stegall, and his sisters Janie Wyatt and Virginia Turner.
Entombment will be at Danville Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
