Stanley lost his father, Thomas Stanley Scott, when he was 19, five months before he married Frances Helen (Carnahan) Scott. He had a four year older half brother, William Thomas Scott. Stanley was quite talented and became a machinist, a foreman (Pratt & Whitney Aircraft), a district manager of A & P Gracery Stores and briefly a small grocer following initial retirement. No doubt he had other employment unknown to this writer. He had three children: a daughter, Betty Jane Morehouse, two boys, Donald and Robert Raymond Scott, and numerous grandchildren. His daughter lives in North Townawanda, NY,(alive and well in 2008). Donald died in Maine, and a second son, Robert Raymond died in Duxbury, Massachusetts, (buried in this cemetery). Each son and the daughter also had children whose names are not known to this writer. His mother was Vinnie Viola (Graham) Scott, 1871 to 1948. She also is buried in this cemetery.
