Rev. George McIntosh, Jr., 84, of Inman passed away on Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at his residence. He was the husband of Opal Virginia Withers McIntosh of the home.

Rev. McIntosh was a native of Irvin, KY and a son of the late George and Rebecca McIntosh, Sr. He was a retired tool and die/mold maker, attended Gateway Baptist Church and was a licensed, ordained minister with God's Missionary Church.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughters and sons in law: Carol and Drake Hughes of Centerville, OH, Lynda and David Clark of South Carolina and Theresa and David Ray of South Carolina; six grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren along with his faithful dog, Katy.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 5, 2013 at Eggers Funeral Home of Boiling Springs.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 6, 2013 at Eggers Funeral Chapel officiated by Rev. Randy Key, Rev. Ray Stuart and Rev. Tim Ramsey. Interment will be in Good Shepherd Memorial Park.

The family will be at the residence.
