Gadsden Times, June 20, 1938 -

Funeral services for Mrs. R. B. Lehman, of Bessemer who died at a
Melbourne, Fl hospital Sunday afternoon of injuries received in a motor
accident near Titusville, Fla., Friday, are to be held tomorrow morning
at
10:00 from the Southside Baptist Church in Bessemer, with the Rev. Mr.
King
officiating. The funeral cortege will leave for Gadsden following the
services, and a final rites will be held at 1:30pm from the Forrest
Cemetery Chapel, with the Rev L. O. Leavell, pastor of the First
Presbyterian Church directing. Internment will be in the Forrest
Cemetery,
Brown-Service of Attalla, directing.
Mrs. Lehman is survived by her husband, R. B. Lehman; two daughters,
Mrs.
Harold Pearson and Miss Carolyn Lehman, both of Bessemer; three
brothers,
H. B. Pace, M.M. Pace and T.C. Pace, all of Gadsden, and five sisters;
Mrs.
J. A. DeNoma, Mrs. W.H. Appleton, Mrs. Ruby Edwards, Miss Tera Pace and
Miss Dovie Pace, all of Gadsden.
The active pallbearers will be Authur Ables, H. F. Skeen, Luther Harbin,
Earl Johnson, Roy Jones and Oscar Thompson.
Mrs. Lehman's sister, Miss Tera Pace, who was also injured in the
accident
arrived in Anniston this morning and was reemoved in a Brown-Service
ambulance to the residence on Cherry Street. Her condition was regarded
as
quite painful and serious.
