A graduate of Tulane Medical School, David was the only son of Thomas H. Roberts and his wife Josephine and had six sisters. He served as a Lt. Commander in the U.S. Navy on a Hospital Ship (USS Consolation) in the Pacific during WW2 and after working for many years for the Guardian Life Ins. Co. in NYC, he retired to New Orleans where he volunteered his time at the Episcopal Clinic & elsewhere. Member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church and father of two children, Thomas H. Roberts and Ann Talbot Roberts, husband of Audrey Louise Cassell Roberts.
