Richard R. "Dick" Ferguson, 73, of the Holmes section of Ridley Township, an auto-parts store owner and Korean War veteran, died Aug. 20 at Crozer-Chester Medical Center.
Born in Philadelphia, Mr. Ferguson served in the Army during the Korean War. He was the owner and operator of an auto parts store in Ridley Township.
Mr. Ferguson was a member of American Legion Post 507 in Norwood. He was an avid sports fan and former football coach.
He was predeceased by his wife, Christine Walsh Ferguson; parents, Edwin and Anna Smith Ferguson; and a brother, William Ferguson.
Survivors: Daughter, Linda A. Harmon of Downingtown; son, Richard R. Ferguson Jr. of Downingtown; two grandchildren.
Service: 1:30 p.m. Thursday, James F. Knoetgen Funeral Home, 746 Kedron Ave., Morton.
Visitation: Noon-1:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Burial: Eastlawn Cemetery, Ridley Township.
