George Strength was born in Bryan, TX. to Sidney and Elizabeth (Mann) Strength. George graduated from Stephen F. Austin High School in Bryan. He then joined the USAF in 1969, serving in Korea and was honorably discharged in 1973. He attended Texas State Technical College, The University of Texas, the University of Maryland, and Austin Community College in Austin. When in the Air Force George was in Radio Communications and as a civilian, he continued as an electrical engineer in telecommunications.
George is survived by: his wife, daughter, son, stepson, and one granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by his parents and infant brother.
