Scottville - Mrs. Chesley (Anna) McFarland, 86, of North Scottville died Sunday at Paulina Stearns Hospital, where she had been a patient for three weeks. She was born Sept. 23, 1874, in Three Rivers and in 1893 moved to Crystal Valley, where she married Chesley McFarland on March 3, 1895. In 1900 the couple moved to Mason County, living north of Scottville since 1910. Mrs. McFarland was a member of Scottville First Methodist Church. In addition to her widower, Chesley McFarland, she leaves two sons, Don of Scottville Route 2 and Ivers of Chicago: two sisters, Mrs. Fannie Gibbs and Mrs. Lulu Altschwager of Ludington: six grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. A son Harry died in 1947. The body is at Stephens Funeral Home.
