C. McFarland Dies Sunday
Chesley McFarland, 93, of route 2 Scottville died Suday morning at his home. He had been in ill health for one week. He was born Sept. 29, 1871, in Whitehall, Wisconsin, and had been a resident of Mason County for the past 65 years, residing at his home north of Scotville for the past 55 years. His wife, Anna, whom he married in 1895, preceded him in death in 1961. A son, Harry, preceded him in death in 1947. Surviving are two sons, Don and Ivers, both of route 2 Scottville, a sister, Mrs. Gladys Pym of Seattle, Washington, six grandchildren and 16 great-granchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday from Stephens Chapel.
