Martin H. "Tony" Zeger, 74, of 1332 Ritner Highway, died Friday, Sept. 5, 2003, at home.

Born Feb. 25, 1929, in Cove Gap, he was a son of the late George M. and Venie Wiser Zeger.

He was a member of Prince Street United Brethren Church, Shippensburg.

Mr. Zeger first was a dairy farmer, and then he drove a truck for Grove Manufacturing Co. (now Grove Worldwide), headquartered in Shady Grove. He retired from North & South Lines, having been a truck driver.

He was a veteran of the Pennsylvania National Guard, having served in the Korean conflict.

Surviving are his wife, Eleanor "Sally" Henderson Zeger, whom he married on Jan. 22, 1948; six sisters, Dorothy Shives, Isabelle Hawk and Georgianna Burkholder, all of Mercersburg; Kathleen Mellott of Fort Loudon; Betty Lou Allen of Abington, Md.; and Emma Shaw of Clay, N.Y.; two brothers, Fred of Chambersburg and George of Schrummburg, Ill.; nieces; and nephews. Five brothers preceded him in death.

Service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home Inc., 112 W. King St., Shippensburg. The Rev. James O. Bolich will officiate. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery, Shippensburg.

Visitation will be from 7 to 9 tonight in the funeral home.
