Wallace Brown passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family in his 91st year on Friday, December 24, 2004 at Marshall Gowland Manor, Sarnia. He was born in Chatham Township, son of the late W. Raymond & Jennie Mae Wallace Brown. Wallace was a returned veteran of the Second World War and served overseas with the Winnipeg Rifles. He was an employee of the City of Sarnia for 32 years until his retirement. He was cheerful and caring natured and will be missed by many friends. Beloved husband of 70 years to Madge Chapple Brown; dear father of Clayton Brown of Sarnia, Shirley Piercy of Florida, Patricia Clatworthy of Sarnia and Bonita & Jerry Nickels of Sarnia; loving grandfather of: Dean Clatworthy, Darcy Clatworthy, Tyler Piercy, Simone Rodgers and Chad Nickels; great-grandfather of seven; kind brother of Borden Brown of Dresden. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Friends will be received at the THOMAS L. DeBURGER FUNERAL HOME, 620 Cross Street, Dresden Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted from the chapel of the funeral home on Wednesday, December 29, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. Interment in Dresden Cemetery.
