Charles Leslie Pedigo and Clora Ellen Hogue were married December 30, 1902 in Taloga, Oklahoma Territory. Charles Leslie was a farmer and well digger and Clora was a housewife. In the summer of 1903, Charles Leslie started feeling poorly. Being a hard working man, he attempted to keep working, but soon was unable to do so. It turned out he had typhoid fever. Charles Leslie died September 11, 1903, and was buried in Brumfield Cemetery near Seiling, Oklahoma. Charles Leslie's death was 4 months 22 days before his only child, daughter Mina Leslie Pedigo, was born.
