Leonard H. Kinsel, age 99, of Roseburg, Oregon, passed away Wednesday, February 28, 2018. He was born January 22, 1919, in Wichita, Kansas.

Leonard served in the U.S. Army Air Corps as a First Lieutenant during World War II. He was a pilot who flew a B24 Liberator.

Leonard worked for many years as a log scaler for Southern Oregon Log Scaling Bureau.

Survivors include his children Le Horning and her husband John of Seaside, Oregon, Linda Churchill and her husband Jack of Fremont, California, and Bill Kinsel and his wife Patty of Roseburg, Oregon; 10 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Leonard was preceded in death by his first wife of 52 years, Goldie, and his second wife, Genell, of 21 years.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
