MRS. CLARA JANE GOBRECHT Widow of Neander A. Gobrecht, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Irene C. Shaw, 219 East First avenue, at 2.20 o'clock yesterday afternoon after an extended illness. She was born on May 1,1852, at Beecherville, a daughter of Samuel M. and Sarah Ann Matilda (Wagner) Beecher, and was united in marriage with Mr. Gobrecht on April 2,1871. Surviving are four sons and one daughter, George N. and Edwin N. Gobrecht of the city, Samuel B. and John G. of Pittsburgh and Mrs. Shaw of the city; ten grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. E. W. Cavender of Tyrone. Mrs. Gobrecht was a member of the Salem Evangelical and Reformed church and of the Gorsuch Sunday school class. The body may be viewed at the Myers funeral home where funeral services will be held at 2.30 o'clock Saturday afternoon. Interment will be made in Rose Hill cemetery.
