Funeral services for Grover Clayton Waddell, 80, of Rt. 2 Cottondale, who died yesterday at the Tuscaloosa Veterans Administration Hospital, will be held tomorrow at 2 p.m. at the chapel of the Memory Chapel Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Memory Hill Gardens.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Grover C. Waddell of Cottondale; three daughters, Mrs. Warren Busby, Mrs. Ganus Gore and Mrs. William Faulkner, all of Tuscaloosa; a son Burl Waddell of Tuscaloosa; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Active pallbearers include Carl Stripling, Dave Elmore, James H. Yaw, Terry Skelton, Ottie Lee Jones and John R. Willingham.
A native of Calhoun County, Ala., Waddell was a resident of Tuscaloosa Co. for the past 50 years. He was a retired employee of the Veterans Administration Hospital here, a veteran of World War I, and a member of the Cottondal Baptist Church.
