Laura was the first born child of John Franklin Lambeth and Margaret Smith Lambeth, her grandparents were Michael and Catherine Smith of Dallas Co. Mo. She had two younger brothers Wm. Thomas (1873) Michael Calloway (1874). She married Addison B. Ayers 1 Jaunary, 1894 in Dallas Co. They were the parents of two sons Alvin and Jesse. Laura died in Springfield, Greene Co. Mo. from the effects of measles.
