Found Dead in Bed William Ackerly, one of the oldest and most respected residents of this section, was found dead in bed at the home of Frank Winter, near this village, Tuesday morning, a peaceful death having come to him while he slept.
Mr. Ackerly was 87 years of age and had a reputation for sterling honesty and upright living. The funeral was held yesterday from his late home and interment in the Margaretville cemetery.
