ISAAC "IKE" PIERSON, 90, Winchester, died early Thursday at Jefferson County Memorial hospital, Winchester, where he had been a short time. He was born May 8, 1888, in Girard, the son of Kinsey and Ida Mae Pierson. He was a farmer in the Osage community near Girard, until he retired in 1967. He lived in the town of Girard for five years, before moving to Winchester in April. He was a member of the Osage Church of the Brethren in rural McCune. He married Dora E. Bond on Jan. 4, 1915, in Girard. She survives. Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Gay Trimble, Valley Falls; a son, Virgil L. Pierson, Kansas City; two sisters, Mrs. Della Earthman, Rogers, Ark., and Mrs. Nora Evans, Ottawa; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Services were held Saturday at Osage Church of the Brethren, near McCune in Crawford county, Burial was in the church cemetery, Nellis Hagge Funeral Home, Valley Falls, was in charge of arrangements.
