Seaton David Weaver was a Confederate Army chaplain in the 14th Alabama Infantry, Co. K.

S. D. Weaver was reported severely wounded in the shoulder on May 6, 1864 at the battle of the Wilderness, Virginia. He subsequently died of his wounds on May 17, near Orange Courthouse, Virginia. See the Selma Morning Reporter dated June 17, 1864, the Montgomery Daily Advertiser, dated July 25, 1864, and the Final Statement by First Lieutenant B. I. Pate, dated November 14, 1864.
