She was born Sept. 16, 1942, in Terre Haute, to William Dean and Ida (Nash) Dean.
Her family was her life. Jeane enjoyed going to the casino, playing bingo, crocheting, fishing, fine dining, painting and drawing.
Jeane was preceded in death by her parents; son, William Gordon Drake Jr.; brothers, Robert Dean and William Dean "Junior"; and granddaughter, Lillie Ann Morris.
She is survived by her husband of 13 years, William Gordon Drake "Bud"; children, Billie Jean Grayless and husband Fred, April Mckenzie and partner Greg Cooper, David L. Monk Jr. and wife Cindy, Debbra Magnetti and fiancé Philip Herrick, Darleena Deann Monk, Earl Gordon Drake and wife Dawn, Cindy Porter and husband Doug, and Terri Cooper and husband Larry; brother. Kenneth Dean and wife NanSue; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, Sept. 6, 2013, at 1 p.m., in DeBaun Funeral Homes Springhill Chapel, 85 E. Springhill Drive. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Pastor Wendell Kirkman will be officiating. Visitation will be 11 a.m. until services on Friday.
